Outdoor Toddler & Parent Play Group

When: Wednesdays, June 28th to August 2nd, 10:30AM to 11AM

Who: Toddlers & their parent(s)

What: Designed for young children to experience natural play opportunities with their parents and other children with emphasis on sensory and motor skills and establishing a trusting, respectful parent-child relationship. Created with the right combination of structured and unstructured activities to provide opportunities for friendship development and emphasis on sensory-motor skills in a natural play setting.

When: Mondays* and Thursdays, June 26th to July 31st, 4:30PM to 5:15PM

Who: Preschoolers ages 4 to 5

What: Designed with the right combination of structured and unstructured activities to provide opportunities for friendship development and emphasis on sensory-motor skills in a natural play setting for children with emerging group self-regulation and cooperative play skills and sensory motor development.

Preschool Sensory Motor & Play Group

When: Mondays* and Thursdays, June 26th to July 31st, 11AM to 12PM

Who: Preschoolers ages 3 to 4

What: A group designed to support emerging social, motor, sensory and play skills. We will have adventures, motor courses, sensory experiences and use our fingers to develop fine and visual motor skills needed to participate in preschool classes! Includes 10 sessions and one 15 minute parent conference.

Jump Start for Kindergarten

When: Mondays* and Thursdays, June 26th to July 31st, 1PM to 2:15PM

Who: Students entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2016

What: A fine and visual motor booster group with a focus on shapes, coloring, letter formations required for the first quarter of kindergarten. Includes 6 sessions and one 15 minute parent conference.

Handwriting Remediation Classes Led by Ellen Salomon, MS

When: 4:45PM to 5:30PM for 12 weeks based on interest

Who: Maximum 3 students per grade level

What: Students will receive handwriting instruction from a certified general and special education teacher with supporting homework assignments between lessons.

Typing Club


Typing Club 

When: 4:45PM to 5:30PM for 10 weeks, based on interest

Who: Maximum of 3 students in grades 1-4

What: Students will participate in a regimented typing program with a focus on fine motor isolation, visual motor efficiency and accuracy. Homework assignments between each sessions.

Social Skills


Everyday S.T.U.F.F: Situations Teens Experience Firsthand, Led by Keith Lester, ETS

When: Ongoing based on interest 

Who: Students ages 14 and Up

What: A teen club designed to support social interaction, development and participation for students who struggle with maintaining friendships, interpreting friendships and relationships and/or understanding social communication.
